For more than a century, the Country Club of Harrisburg has been a place where families gather, relax, and enjoy time together. The club sits on the lower slopes of the Blue Mountains above the Susquehanna River, only minutes from the city, yet it feels calm and tucked away. The property has the charm of an older estate combined with the energy of a modern, active community. Members enjoy a full range of amenities that make the club feel like a small resort. The grounds include a classic William Flynn golf course, har tru tennis courts, a heated pool with a renovated cabana, hiking paths, and open green spaces for families. Inside the English Manor style clubhouse, dining rooms and social spaces create a warm setting where people settle in easily. The club’s traditions, programs, and year round activities give members a place to unwind and feel connected.

Golf and Racquet Sports

Golf has shaped the club’s identity since 1896. The William Flynn course follows the natural curves of the land and offers a classic playing experience that never feels rushed. It stays interesting for experienced players while staying welcoming for newer ones. Members enjoy open access throughout the day, along with full practice facilities that include a stocked golf shop, a driving range, putting greens, and sand practice areas. The tennis program brings its own rhythm to the grounds. The har tru courts stay busy from spring through fall with adult leagues, family play, clinics, and tournaments. Players of every level find something that fits their style, and the tennis shop and staff keep the experience comfortable and well supported. Together, golf and tennis create a steady pace of activity that brings members outside and keeps them involved.

Summer days often begin or end at the pool. Recent upgrades added new decking, updated cabana spaces, fresh flooring, improved changing rooms, and comfortable furniture throughout the area. Families gather here naturally, and the swim team adds excitement for younger members. The snack shack keeps things simple, and the whole space feels relaxed once warm weather arrives. Pool, Dining and Club Life Dining is one of the club’s most welcoming features. Three rooms inside the clubhouse offer their own atmosphere, from easy family meals to quieter business lunches. Outside, the patio looks across the eighteenth green toward the valley and river, and it turns even a quick drink into something memorable. The social calendar keeps the club lively through the year. Members come together for cookouts, fireworks on the Fourth of July, holiday events, and monthly themed dinners. The schedule always has something to look forward to, and every season brings its own way to connect.

I understand there shall be no initial initiation fee due upon submission of my Application for Membership, in conjunction with my Preview Relationship Term. By electing to join in a provisional Preview Relationship, I agree to the following terms/conditions as they relate to joining The Country Club of Harrisburg. 1. Commitment to Relationship for a Minimum Preview Term of 12 Months. I hereby obligate myself for the payment of all applicable monthly operational and capital dues and all charges during my 12-month Preview Relationship Term. 2. Termination of Privileges or Membership Continuation at Conclusion of the 12-month Preview Relationship Term. 3. Privileges and Limitations During Preview Relationship Term. During my Preview Relationship Term, I shall be entitled to the use of the Club facilities and involvement in all Club activities (excluding certain Club events as determined by The Country Club of Harrisburg) and usage privileges in the category of membership in which I am approved. Additionally, I understand my Preview Relationship is not transferable or refundable. 4. Mutual Agreement . I have been invited to Preview the Club, but my acceptance as a new Member is dependent on both my interest in joining and the Club completing its customary membership approval process, to its satisfaction, including approval. 5 . The Country Club of Harrisburg Bylaws and Rules & Regulations. I agree to be bound by The Country Club of Harrisburg Bylaws and Rules & Regulations as established and may be amended by the Club, from time to time. 6. Revocable Relationship. The Club has the absolute right and discretion to revoke my Preview Relationship at any time before the Preview Relationship Term (12 months) concludes. If the Club exercises its right, I remain obligated and promise to pay all applicable operational and capital dues and all charges incurred through the date on which the Club exercises its right to revoke my membership.
