Founded in 1896 by a distinguished list of Harrisburg business leaders seeking the social and sports amenities of country club life for themselves and their families, the Club has evolved into a modern day escape from our busy lives.The Country Club of Harrisburg is built on the foothills of the Blue Mountains, high above the Susquehanna River in scenic Fishing Creek Valley, just ten minutes from Harrisburg. Members of The Country Club of Harrisburg enjoy a resort-like atmosphere featuring a large, English Manor-style clubhouse and well groomed grounds that include a challenging 18-hole William Flynn golf course with a fully stocked golf shop, driving range, putting greens, and sand practice areas; heated swimming pool with bathhouse and snack bar; har-tru tennis courts with pro shop; hiking trails; and family picnic areas. No matter what your interests are, there is something for each member of your family.

Our historic 18 Hole Championship Golf Course was founded in 1896, making it one of the oldest clubs in the state of Pennsylvania. Our course has been a draw for members for decades. Designed by William Flynn, a noted early American golf architect, our golf course is renowned for its timeless design and natural flow with the land, similar to some of Mr. Flynn’s more recognized courses, Shinnecock Hills and Merion where U.S. Opens have been hosted.The course is beautiful and challenging, but easily accessible for members at any time of the day, and a great place to enjoy the company of friends, family and fellow members.

Members may enjoy a variety of atmospheres when dining at The Country Club of Harrisburg.Three dining rooms, each offering unique style and decor, accommodate every members’ dining preferences, whether formal, casual, business, family or social. Our outside patio, overlooking the 18th green to the valley and river below, offers a view unparalleled in Central PA. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or simply to enjoy a cold beverage following a round of golf.

Extensive renovation and remodeling has taken place in our clubhouse, including the pool ! New pool decking, a renovated cabana with new flooring, snack shack and changing rooms along with new furniture throughout the entire pool area provides a great gathering place for families during the summer months! The Country Club of Harrisburg is a family friendly club which offers members and their children a variety of sports and social activities throughout the year, including an active swim team for youth, tennis events for all, active golf league participation for men and women, and an active youth golf program.

Social events include casual cookouts and fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July; cocktail parties that ring in the Holidays; specialty menu events most months; and much more. The Country Club of Harrisburg’s well-attended social activities have broad appeal to our membership while providing an active social calendar to keep every member of your family entertained all year long.

HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS Celebrate with friend and family at the Country Club of Harrisburg for all your favorite holidays. From Easter to Christmas and everything in between. Our holiday events are a big hit at CCH. INDEPENDENCE DAY What better way to spend Idependence Day than at Harrisburg’s most scenic fireworks display? This Country Club of Harrisburg family tradition is perfect for everyone!

WOMEN’S LEAGUES Depending on how competitive you are or your working schedule here at the Country Club of Harrisburg we have Women’s Leagues to fill your needs. Our Tuesday Ladies League is 9 holes and a more relaxed atmosphere with a few free clinics thrown in. Wednesday Ladies League is more competitive, while also being fun atmosphere. If you can’t make it during the week we also offer a Thursday night Ladies League that begins after work. This league is designed for those ladies that can’t play during the week but still want a bit of competitive golf with different formats each week. MEN’S LEAGUES We offer a Men’s Match Play league every Tuesday night. The weekly entry fee is $10 and you play when your schedule allows. Each week is a round robin match play format for points. We have weekly winners as well as a year-long points race. MEMBER GOLF ASSOCIATION (MGA) These events are held on the weekends. There are usually one or two events a month. The MGA is a flat fee for the year which includes your entry into the events and breakfast for most of the events. There are 12 different MGA Events throughout the year. Each event is a different format giving you the opportunity to have a fun event in a competitive atmosphere.

THE HAMMERHEAD SWIM TEAM Join our 2019 Interclub Swim Champions swim team. Coach John Kesler is in his 26th season at CCH, the Hammerheads motto “one team, one family”. JUNIOR GOLF We have an extensive Junior Golf Program here at the CCH. We have clinics tailored to your juniors skill level. Our PGA Junior League is a perfect way to get juniors more comfortable on the golf course. Our Flight Scope lessons are for them as well. Juniors have the opportunity to play in the Harrisburg Area Junior Golf Association or the Philadelphia Section Junior Tour. Youth Sports Program JUNIOR TENNIS From tiny tots to intermediate, Director of Tennis Andy Stoner, will help your tennis player with proper technique, stroke production, footwork and live ball play.
