We welcome you to Olympia’s premier country and golf club. The Olympia Country and Golf Club was founded in 1917, the original site of the course was in Lacey, where Panorama City now stands. In 1923, about 100 acres was purchased on Butler Cove for the current location of the club. The Clubhouse construction was completed in 1925 and the golf course, then only nine holes, opened the following year. The golf course expanded to eighteen holes in 1958, the clubhouse was remodeled at that time and a swimming pool was added to the grounds. In 2012, Dr. Angela J. Bowen, a longtime member of the club, purchased the land and property from Budd Land Company. Under Dr. Bowen’s leadership the OC&GC restructured it’s operation and built a modern golf club and restaurant facility. In 2020, after Dr. Bowen’s passing, OC&GC was bought by an LLC formed by a group of OC&GC members. This ensures the club is owned and operated by the members from now and into the future.

A GOLFER’S DREAM THE COURSE IS CALLING YOU

Nestled in the tall firs, overlooking Budd Inlet, sits one of the hidden gems of Northwest golf. Sprawling over 6,200 yards through tight tree lined fairways, Olympia’s 18-hole championship course has played host to Olympia families for generations. Known for its tight fairways and lightning-fast greens, Olympia Country Club’s course is a test for the most accomplished of golfers. But with three sets of tees, it allows golfers of all abilities to experience an enjoyable round of golf. The club offers excellent instruction from our staff of PGA professionals, an extensive junior golf program, and active groups for both men and women. The club offers personal cart storage and club storage on site as well as locker space. OCGC has a new fleet of EZGO carts that are available for rental by the ride, month, or season.

TERRACE ON THE GREEN

Terrace on the Green offers a gorgeous backdrop for any occasion. Our culinary team has created a menu to please every palate. From gourmet pastas, innovative selections of sandwiches and salads, a wide variety of locally harvested seafood, premium cuts of meat, plant-based dishes, and more. We offer the quintessential Pacific Northwest experience with our trend setting specials and our always fresh, made from scratch menu. Life Fitness equipment highlights the room. Treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bike, cable weights, medicine balls, swiss balls are available to use from 6am to 9pm. Fitness classes are given by top notch instructors in their field of yoga, core, stretching and nutrition. FITNESS CENTER The Olympia Country and Golf Club has a very active pickleball community and is always looking for additions to the team. This casual and fun environment invites men and women of all levels to join in on our pickleball programming. We currently have four courts, including the newly lit court in the garage, so the games continue rain or shine. PICKLEBALL
