For over 75 years, the Country Club of Fairfax has been more than just a club — it’s a community, a retreat, and a place where friendships flourish and families connect. Nestled among the rolling hills of Northern Virginia, our 121-acre property offers a sanctuary from the fast-paced region, blending timeless tradition with modern amenities. The Court House Country Club was founded in 1947 by 20 Fairfax residents who wanted a private country club. They purchased 121 acres near a historic courthouse and began converting the farmland into a golf course. The club opened in 1948 with four holes, expanded to nine in 1949, and reached a full 18-hole course by 1954, along with a clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts. Membership grew to over 200. In 1958, the course was redesigned, and in 1963, the club was renamed the Country Club of Fairfax. Our History FROM FARMLAND TO FAIRWAYS: THE STORY OF OUR CLUB
