Located in Hartford’s historic Asylum Hill neighborhood, the Town & County Club is a private retreat for members and guests to converse, connect, celebrate, savor, and rest. The storied 1895 mansion including parlors, library, dining room, art gallery and ballroom provide elegant venues with the flexibility to accommodate any occasion. The Town & County Club prides itself on the camaraderie of its membership.The club is an organized center for women’s work, thought and actions. Advancing the interests of women and promoting science, literature and the arts were core goals for our pioneering and visionary women of the Hartford region.The Club continues to broaden our membership and programs. With a wider geographic reach, the T&C continues to attract members to a welcome haven from offices and other commercial spaces; it is a place where members bring guests and colleagues for meals, private meetings and memorable events.
