A Home Away From Home

From its inception in 1885, the Genesee Valley Club has served as a home away from home for its members and their families. The Club’s founders held prominent positions in the community and shared a common desire to gather with peers, discuss current events and politics and compete in sports and games. Over the years the Club has evolved and expanded its membership and the services offered. Yet, the essence has remained unchanged: to provide offerings and facilities of the highest level with unmatched service and to foster bonds of life-long friendship and camaraderie.

We offer a state-of-the-art fitness area, a group fitness room with classes for members of all ages and fitness levels, racquet sports including indoor and outdoor tennis, squash and paddle tennis. They say the secret to getting ahead is getting started, and that is exactly what our fitness team can offer. Fitness, Wellbeing, and Belonging

At Genesee Valley Club you can explore an array of racquet sports, from squash or tennis to paddle and pickle ball. Our on-staff pros are always available to offer the instruction and programming you need to take your game to the next level. Racquet Sports In our Group Fitness area, you can join in a variety of fitness classes ranging from yoga and Pilates to boot camp and high-intensity strength training. Classes are always tailored to accommodate the fitness levels of every participant and we offer specialized classes for juniors and teens. Group / Classes

The little ones can have fun in our fully supervised Valley Kids Room while mom and dad enjoy date night or a workout together. Summer and holiday camps are a great Club experience to keep children of all ages busy during school breaks. They will participate in tennis, squash, swimming lessons and engaging art projects. You won’t find any other city club with five acres of meticulously maintained grounds and exceptional outdoor amenities. Members appreciate the resort-like feel of our pool deck and our heated pools. Dining on the Club terraces is a seasonal treat members anxiously await all winter long. On cooler evenings, you will find members enjoying a glass of wine snuggled under a blanket at our fire pit.

Our members look to the Club for camaraderie fostered by our social programs and events that bring them together. We host more than 50 Club events each year designed to appeal to a variety of interests. Long standing traditions like the Father Daughter Dinner Dance and Brunch with Santa are events that families look forward to every year. Members and their guests anxiously await our Annual Clam Bake as it has become known as the social event of the year. All of our events cultivate life-long friendships and warm memories.
